Sakuta Azusagawa est un jeune lycéen qui fait la rencontre de Mai Sakurajima, alors qu’elle se promène dans une bibliothèque déguisée en « bunny girl ». Pour une raison étrange, les gens autour d’elle ne peuvent plus la voir.
Mai est en fait son aînée au lycée ainsi qu’une ancienne actrice célèbre qui s’est retirée de l’industrie du cinéma suite à un désaccord avec sa mère.
